Do I need to be religious?
You needn't be religious, we have no expectation of any kind of commitment from you.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 12,00 a.m. to 6,00 p.m. (or later, if differently arranged) and check-out is at 10,00 a.m. (or later on special request, if possible)

Is it like staying in a Hotel room or B&B?
You will experience a different side of Sicily staying in safe, good value lodgings, very clean, which is very centrally located and set in idyllic landscape. Unique and affordable lodging, with a point of difference to hotels and bed & breakfasts in Sicily.

What do you offer?
All rooms listed have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and heating. And all rooms are quiet and very clean. 

Do you have a daily room cleaning service?
Yes, your room is cleaned daily.

Are bed and bath linen included in the price?
Yes, each room is provided with bed and bath.

Do you have rooms with kitchen facilities?
Yes, we do have some rooms with kitchen facilities. An extra charge is due.

Are there any rooms suitable for handicapped guests?
Yes, some rooms are suitable for handicapped guests.

Do you have an internet access?
Yes, we do.

How can I reach Palermo from the airport?

You can catch a train from Palermo airport train station to Palermo Centrale (Train station at the airport basement). The trip takes 45 minutes.

To reach Cefalù, you have to take a train from Palermo Centrale to Cefalù. It takes approximately 45 minutes. All trains stop at Cefalù: www.trenitalia.com

How far away is it from the train station?
CEFALU’ – Cefalù’s train station is  under 700m away from the Collegio di Maria. ( View map )
PALERMO - The Collegio di Maria al Giusino of Palermo is about 1300m away from Palermo’s Central Station. ( View map )

Where can we park?
CEFALU’ - The traffic in the old town center is limited and parking is prohibited. You are only allowed to go by car from 05:00am-09:30am e 1:00pm-4:00pm. During the rest of the day you will have to go around the Rock to get around the town center and drive through the historical center from the Port of Presidiana, then Porta Giudecca, via Porpora and via Bordonaro, direction Porta Pescara. We are just in front of the small beach of Cefalù’s historical town center. Tourists that have just arrived can take the car to their hotel (Collegio di Maria) and drop off their luggage, have a short stop, and then park the car just outside the town center (about 100m away). Parking can sometimes be difficult. The rules are: WHITE LINES parking permitted, unless it is signposted “ SOLO PER RESIDENTI”; BLUE LINES, from June 1 through September 30, € 0.50 an hour during the day in some streets. In case you are seeking a guarded parking place, you can drive to the Via Verga Parking house, or, during summer, to the Lungomare (near the long beach) in restricted areas .
PALERMO - The Collegio di Maria al Giusino of Palermo has a private parking place. Furthermore you can park just opposite our house. To get to the Collegio di Maria al Giusino of Palermo drive along the via Vittorio Emanuele, past Palermo’s Cathedral, after m100, left into the via Collegio al Giusino. ( View map )

Where can we park our bikes / bicycles?

Both at CEFALU’ and PALERMO guests have a private courtyard dedicated to parking their bikes / bicycles.

Is breakfast included in the rate?
Breakfast is not included. Available on request.

Is there a restaurant service in the house?
No, there isn't. We don't supply meal. We have special settled prices with some restaurants of the area.

Do you accept pets?
No, we do not accept pets.

Why the curfew?
So everyone can get some sleep. Curfew: 00:00am (Summer 01:00am).
Exceptions are made, particularly in summer and in case of late arrivals due to plane delays or other causes.

Which languages speaks the owner?

Italian, English, and German.
